Everyone who braved the cold rainy weather was treated to a marvelous service this morning. We lit the 4th Advent Candle, the candle of Love.
The message today was delivered by Justin Wood. Urging us to look past "holiday perfection" and to embrace interruptions. We all tend to fall into a trap of doing it all: sending out cards, finding the right presents, baking cookies. The first Christmas was was full of interruptions. An unexpected pregnancy, birth in a manger, and a life, totally unplanned! We can embrace life's interruptions. God did not promise perfection, but to be with us on the journey. To LOVE. We remember share Christ's LOVE this Christmas season.
